2009 SMART Program

The 2009 Program consisted of:
five (5) Drawing classes in January, February and March
five (5) Painting classes in April, May and June
two (2) field trips over the Summer
five (5) Sculpture classes in September, October and November
Each class was approximately 2 1/2 hours long on Saturday mornings at the Indianapolis Art Center. Each class was taught by an expert professional artist. There was some lecturing and instructions, but 75% or so of the class was hands on and doing! It was fun and educational and engaging. We were creating art and there was no such thing as a mistake.
